Currently serving a five year prison sentence in the astral plane for an undisclosed cosmic felony. In an unrelated note, the author wanted everyone to know that they should never do drugs with an alien, no matter how pretty she is. Sure, you may become one with the universe, but it will be her universe.
Upcoming Projects
The Trappist Endeavor
A sci-fi anthology about humanity’s efforts to expand beyond our solar system for the first time. Featuring short stories from four different groups of colonists, each traveling to separate exoplanet’s in the same star system.
That star? Trappist 1a, an ultra-cool red dwarf star about the size of Jupiter in the constellation Aquarius, 41 lightyears from earth. 7 planets orbit the star, but only four are in the star’s habitable zone; Trappist 1d, 1e, 1f, and 1g.
These short stories will be released in an episodic, serial cadence. So keep a look out for the first entry in this anthology, “Cohesion.”
The Brother Paradox:
A young adult speculative sci-fi trilogy that takes place in Las Vegas in 2004. This series will be a rowdy and hilarious story about a group of teens trying to survive high school and the consequences of inventing time travel.
Keep an eye out for the first book in this trilogy, titled “Thesis,” coming in 2025. This too will be released in an episodic, serial release.
Mariana the Moon Girl
There are only three rules in the Museum of Human History:
1. Never tell anyone about the museum, or any of its secrets.
2. Follow Mr. Steel’s instructions with exactness.
3. Never lie to Mr. Steel.
In all the time that eleven-year-old Mariana has lived in the museum and hunted for the superpowered artifacts of ancient American Legends, she has strictly followed all of the rules. She knows that if she doesn’t, Mr. Steel, the mysterious museum curator, will banish her.
But the day that she stumbles upon a family being attacked by a giant tarantula in the desert ruins of Philadelphia—the same day she finds the ancient bifocals of Benjamin Franklin and becomes best friends with his ghost in the process—she breaks every single rule.
The consequences? Miss Murphy, Mr. Steel’s oldest enemy, who is hell-bent on destroying the museum, discovers their whereabouts. Their only escape? Finding the boots of Butch Cassidy, which grant their bearer the power of the perfect getaway.
Together, Mariana, Mr. Steel, and Benjamin Franklin must walk the path of Butch Cassidy’s final days and discover the Legendary outlaw’s secret fate. But as the threat of Miss Murphy approaches, will Mariana risk her friends’ lives in order to keep her lie a secret?
It’s been a year since Mariana found the boots of Butch Cassidy.
A year since Miss Murphy threatened to destroy the Museum of Human History.
A year since Mr. Steel forced them all into hiding—and Mariana is bored.
But when Mr. Steel finally allows Mariana and the ghost of Benjamin Franklin out of the museum to hunt for another powerful artifact, things couldn’t go more wrong. The artifact’s Legend proves hostile, and in the chaos, Mariana is kidnapped by Miss Murphy!
Stuck in enemy territory—even with surprisingly pleasant captors—Mariana decides not to wait around for whatever Miss Murphy wants with her. Driven by a need for escape, Mariana intercepts a mysterious distress call—but is this broadcast truly from a woman who needs her help, or is it a trap set by one of Mr. Steel’s enemies?
In this sequel to The Secret Fate of Butch Cassidy, Mariana, together with her best friend, Benjamin Franklin, must walk a treacherous path that will not only put her at risk of death but will reveal truths about her past she’s not sure she wants to know. Truths that, once revealed, may tie her fate forever to the mystery of Mr. Steel and Miss Murphy, and even the future of humanity itself.
The final book in the Mariana the Moon Girl series will be released in the next few years. We just need Mariana to grow up a bit before the final chapter in the story of her adventures with Mr. Steel and Miss Murphy is ready to be told.
